Travel information Athens <-> VolosBy trainTrains to Larissa/Volos leave from the Athens central railway station called "Stathmos Larissis". The travel time is typically about 4.5 hours, depending on the connection you take (see below). Note that you have to take a train to Larissa and change there to take a local train for Volos. To reach the "Liossion" bus terminal from the airport, take the suburban railway to the main railway station "Stathmos Larissis", and then a taxi (3-5 euros). In case you are already in the center of Athens, nearby a metro station, and you are travelling light, the "Liossion" bus terminal is a 10-15 minute walk from the metro station "Kato Patissia" (green line).
