Second International Workshop on Plan 9

December 3 & 4, 2007

Call for Papers

Bell Laboratories

Murray Hill

Purpose

The workshop aims at bringing together researchers and developers working on Plan 9 from Bell Labs, or working on related ideas and projects. The intent is to provide a platform for discussing system and application issues related to Plan 9 from Bell Labs including those efforts made for other platforms that are still related to Plan 9. The program for the workshop can be found here.

Camera-ready papers

Camera ready papers must be visually similar to the Plan 9 papers that can be found at /sys/doc/9/ in order to compile a homogeneous proceedings book. See for example this paper (troff source). You must use the same fonts and do not include page numbers. You are free to use any reference style. You can use any text formatting tool (i.e. LaTeX, troff, or MS Word), but the paper must keep this “look and feel.”

Papers must be sent in PDF or PS format to iwp9papers at plan9.bell-labs.com.

Registration

The registration procedure for the iwp9 is open till Nov 30th 2007. In order to register, send an e-mail to iwp9registration at plan9.bell-labs.com that includes your name, login name, affiliation and e-mail address one per line.
