IWP9 2006 - Call for Papers First International Workshop on Plan 9 Sponsored by the Rey Juan Carlos University December 4th-5th, 2006. Madrid (Spain) http://plan9.escet.urjc.es/iwp9 Workshop Overview The workshop aims at bringing together researchers and developers working on Plan 9 from Bell Labs , or working on related ideas and projects. The intend is to provide a platform for discussing system and application issues related to Plan 9 from Bell Labs, including those efforts made for other platforms that are still related to Plan 9. Suggested topics for papers and discussion include, but are not restricted to, any of the following: o System architecture o System services o File systems and servers o Applications o Projects for other platforms related to Plan 9 o Security issues Deadline, reviewing, and submission Submitted papers must be received before October 1st, 2006. Sub- mission of all papers will be made by email to iwp9papers@lsub.org Submissions will be judged on originality, significance, interest, clarity, relevance, and correctness by a program committee that includes well known and knowledgeable people from the Plan 9 developers community. Authors of accepted papers will be expected to provide both PDF and LaTeX or Plan 9 troff source for their papers, for inclusion in the the Proceedings. Important Dates o Paper submissions due: Oct 1st 2006 o Notification of acceptance: Oct 20th 2006 o Camera-ready papers due: Nov 15th 2006 Publication The Proceedings of the workshop will be published in electronic form.
